My family background gives me unique insight into quality construction and design, investment strategies, and negotiation skills. I grew up immersed in the building and real estate industry. As the premier high-end residential architect in Hawaii, my father designed luxury homes for such notable clients as Charles Schwab, Hallmark Cards, and Nintendo Corporation. His commitment to excellence and integrity was unrivaled. I spent ten years working in his architectural firm learning about the building industry. I gleaned so much from his wisdom. I also learned valuable skills working alongside my mother, who was an agent and successfully remodeled and sold investment properties. I have hands-on experience managing remodeling projects.

My experience expands beyond the building industry to business and the performance horse industry. I graduated from Pepperdine University with honors with a degree in Business Administration. While there, I managed the financials and cash flow forecasting for an aerospace engineering firm and developed a keen attention to detail. I then pursued my equine passion. I worked for eight years as an assistant trainer in the reining horse industry at top level training facilities primarily in Texas. During this time, I learned the inner workings of managing some of the best reining operations in the world. And of course, I fell in love with Texas.

I have a unique skill set covering a vast range of knowledge, from business to buildings to equine operations. Most notable perhaps is my experience working with many different types of people and personalities. I have learned to partner with those in humble positions and those of high prominence, with pleasant and difficult personalities. Over many years, I have consistently sought to develop character to address challenges with honesty, integrity, and a heart of services.
